Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays Everybody! This past month has flown by fast. Emilia made it through her first Thanksgiving without too much of a fuss.

Emilia had her very first overnight sleepover on Thanksgiving. She went to stay with Uncle Brad and his girlfriend Margaret so Herm and I could go Black Friday shopping. Emilia did very well and I managed to get through it fairly easily. I had all of the crazy sales to distract me! Herm and I did very good on our Black Friday shopping. We would have been out of Toys R Us in 20 minutes if Herm didn't make change lines :) We were out of Target in 12 minutes...would have been 9 if Herm didn't stop to do an interview for Fox 17 News. So he is now the movie star in our family.

Emilia is working really hard at learning to crawl! She can get up on all fours but just hasn't figured out what to do from there. She likes to do yoga as we call it when she gets up on her toes and pushes her butt up in the air. She is moving around quite a bit now so Herm and I need to get to baby proofing the house. She knows how to push herself backwards so its only a matter of time before she figures out how to go forward! She is sitting up very well on her own when we put her on her butt. Doesn't fall over quite as easily now. She hasn't figured out how to go from laying down on her back to sitting up yet. She is busy and happy little girl. She is up to 18 lbs as of this past Monday at the Doctors.
We got her Ears Pierced at the Beginning of November. She did very well with it. Only cried for a couple of minutes and then she was over it. She hasn't touched the earrings so she is being a good girl with them!
Emilia is starting to eat some baby food now. She doesn't know what to think of that so far, but she is doing well with the food so far.We are looking forward to her first Christmas as she is into tearing paper now.
She starting to experience the separation anxiety this past couple of weeks. She did well for my brother and Margaret but hasn't done well since then. We might have to try having babysitters come to the house and see how that goes.

These are some of her Christmas Pictures that we had taken at Sears. We hope that everyone has a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
